As part of a new 20MW wind energy project, Gagnon Line Construction was hired to construct 5.3 km of new 69kV Transmission line to connect the owner substation to the local utility grid. The transmission was primarily H-Frame construction which consisted of 32 structure builds including one 69kV gang switch. The project poised various challenges and obstacles including strnging beneath a 345kV, 138kV, and 69kV existing electrical corridor as well as crossing over the meandering Kennebacasis River.
